MAYBE the very tired resident living in Severnside North, Bewdley, (Letters, August 24) could note the following.
About the stinking river water flowing through the house most winters - he should have thought about the floods and fishermen before buying the house.
All local people, know the river floods. It always has and always will.
When looking for homes, we get houses away from the river. We don't buy one and then go on and on about flooding, fishermen, motorbikers etc.
Nobody makes you live there.
It is a good job it is not the 1980s, when there were hundreds of boisterous bikers, not just a few, going past your home, and lots of local people and outsiders, night-fishing for eels along the riverside.
