A SWELL event brought crowds flocking to a church fete last Saturday.
The fete proved a big success and raised a grand total of £2,378.82 in aid of the two St Mary's Churches in Upper and Lower Swell.
The fun and games began with a lunchtime pig roast and other attractions included bowling, various stalls and children's games, as well as a prize draw with prizes, including a hand-made wooden fort and an overnight stay at a top hotel.
