Jeremy Robinson did his best to miss another cut, but still ended up with another £2,300 in his European Tour kitty.

The Evesham golfer dropped shots at his last two holes at the TNT Dutch Open, but a 36 hole level par finish earned him the chance to add welcome points on the Order of Merit.

Robinson had earlier rattled in four successive birdies to leave him two under par for last weekend's tournament with seven holes to play after an opening round of 73.

However, dropped shots at 17 and 18 left him searching for the cut mark, which a second day 71 narrowly brought him two extra rounds.

"I didn't play too bad, but my putting was poor," he recalled.

"I was two under and then three putted the 17th on Friday and then three putted on two early holes the next day.

"I was disappointed with the way I scored and I should really have been two or three better at the finish," he reflected, after finishing level par for the event in 54th place.

Robinson tees off at the Scandinavian Open today (Thursday) before the Tour returns to British shores next week for the Victor Chandler British Masters at Woburn.
