TO TOURISTS and residents Stratford is the town with everything - but it was missing a toastmaster until newly-qualified Tim Parry stepped forward!
Mr Parry, of Rushbrook Road, will be joining David Tilt Associates, with whom he received his training, to represent the distinguished League of Toastmasters, as well as taking care of weddings, corporate and civic occasions. According to Mr Parry, aged 49, there is a lot more to being a toastmaster than at first meets the eye.
"To be responsible for ensuring that etiquette and the correct form is maintained at civic, corporate and private events is a marvellous privilege and one that I am looking forward to upholding," he said.
Mr Parry, who runs Shakespeare Tours, is already taking part in engagements.
