WORCESTERSHIRE libraries are being awarded a grant of £63,000 to make new poetry more exciting and available to library users.
The money has been donated by the Government's department for culture, media and sport and the Wolfson Challenge Fund and will be spent on ways to attract the public to poetry and the way it is communicated.
Activities start in October, and the money will be used over six months as a website and workshop programmes get off the ground.
