CHIPPING Norton artist Judith Yarrow is mounting an exhibition of her work in the town later this month.
Her paintings and prints will be on show in Chipping Norton Theatre Gallery from August 22 until September 17 and the exhibition is called Elemental because of its concentration on weather and natural forces. Judith, a mother of four, has lived in Chipping Norton for 11 years and among her works are several based on the town's allotments and a whole series based on Chipping Norton Common in winter.
The whole exhibition features paintings and prints of mountains, earth and water, light, shadows, stones, sand, trees and grasses, often created in a multi-media approach to produce added texture.
There are also etchings and relief prints related to the paintings.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 1pm from Monday to Friday, during performances and from mid-day to 2.30pm on September 3.
