A SERIES of events to highlight British Markets Week is set to take place in Kidderminster.
Competitions, free gifts, face painting and "hunt-the-Pokemon" will be among the activities arranged by market traders at Worcester Street in the town.
They aim to highlight the services they offer the community with a series of events beginning next week.
The scheme, part of a national campaign, coincides with the launch of a "Market Charter" which is designed to explain the consumer rights of the public on markets, as agreed by traders and Wyre Forest District Council.
Wyre Forest District Council chairman Councillor John Gordon will launch the event at West Street Markets, Kidderminster, on Thursday.
