A HECTIC schedule of pre-season friendly matches comes to a close for Stratford Town next Tuesday night.
They entertain Midland Combination side Feckenham when manager Lennie Derby will get a final chance to ponder over team selection for the Midland Alliance opener against Cradley Town five days later.
Player coach Ian Muir should be given a game after two weeks on holiday during which time the Masons Road side played a handful of warm-up matches.
They are due back on the field at Marconi Coventry tonight before returning to Masons Road on Saturday for an attractive fixture against Nationwide Conference visitors Nuneaton Borough.
Town have twice entertained Dr Martens League opponents on home soil during the past week.
On Saturday they came from behind twice to beat Rugby United by 3-2. Town's scrorers were Dave Pearson, who bagged two, one from the penalty spot, and Steve Fergusson.
And on Tuesday Stratford came back from being two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Bedworth. Town's scorers were Craig Martin, from the penalty spot, and Matt Collinson.
