I READ with interest the full word-by-word Hansard record of the adjournment debate on "Hospital Services (Worcestershire)" in Westminster Hall on July 25.
Inevitably debate centred almost entirely on the implications of the planned destruction of services at Kidderminster Hospital.
Speakers included Peter Luff (Conservative, Mid-Worcestershire) who secured the debate, Michael Foster (Labour, Worcester), Christopher Gill (Conservative, Ludlow), Julie Kirkbride (Conservative, Bromsgrove), Nick Harvey (Liberal Democrat, North Devon), Caroline Spelman (Conservative, Meriden), and Labour Minister for Public Health Yvette Cooper.
Why was David Lock silent? I think that I am right in suggesting that he is still just about MP for Wyre Forest or have Labour already shunted him off to the House of Lords?
