MAGISTRATES have given a conditional discharge for a year to a father who broke his wife's nose in a fight over a child's broken toy.
Darren Kimberlin, 30, of Wood Street, Kidderminster, admitted assault causing bodily harm to his wife Caroline. He was told to pay £118 costs.
The assault, during a trivial argument, was out of character, said Kimberlin's solicitor, Gary Harper.
