A question of considerable importance to the residents of Studley was discussed at a meeting of the parish council on Monday evening.
Mr G Hodges signed the declaration of office and took his seat on the council for the first time.
The chairman read a communication from the clerk to the Alcester District Council, (a copy of which appeared in our report of a meeting of that body held a fortnight ago) including a letter from Mr J Morgan CC, in respect of the provision of a proper supply of wholesome water to Studley.
The letter from the District Council stated that they were in accord with the views expressed by Mr Morgan.
