A TWO-DAY recruitment drive is being held in Bromsgrove in an attempt to combat a desperate shortage of supply teachers in the county.
It is being organised by specialist Kings Heath-based agency Quality Teachers, at the Pine Lodge Hotel, Kidderminster Road, on August 16 and 17.
Teachers are invited to drop in to find out about the numerous opportunities open to them in nursery, primary and secondary schools in the district.
The agency says it has received numerous inquiries from schools in the area keen to take on supply staff.
Bromsgrove was chosen as the venue as it is seen as being ideally situated to attract teachers from a wide area.
Agency representatives will be at the hotel from 10am to 5pm on both days.
