ALCESTER won the toss and elected to bat. Despite interruptions for rain, they made a rapid start, reaching 50 in the 12th over.
Once again, all the top order scored heavily, with Paul Hedges 71, Richard Reader 25, Gerald Greenway 28 and John King 21.
Harvington's bowling improved later in the innings but nevertheless Alcester posted a total of 209-6.
In their innings, Harvington were soon in trouble, collapsing to 18-4 and eventually being bowled out for just 74.
Julian Reader, 4-21 and Geoff Reader, 2-17 did the early damage, with Tony Lister, 2-8, continuing the good work with the ball.
