Young cyclist Jessica Adams, 10, is gearing up for a sponsored bike ride around north Worcestershire.
Jessica, a pupil at Walkwood Middle School, will be joining 1,000 other people on Sunday, September 10, to raise money for Leukaemia Research.
When she was two years old, Jessica was diagnosed with leukaemia but thankfully she is now in remission and has not needed any treatment for five years.
Last year, she raised £200 for the charity by cycling the 10-mile course but this year she plans to better that and is cycling the more challenging 26-mile course with her father.
Families, groups and individuals are welcome to register for the giant bike ride by calling Nicole Harris on 878493.
Volunteers are also needed to be marshalls on the day and all those who take part will receive a free T-shirt.
