THE consultation period on the final phase of Redditch Council's Focus on the Future spending review was launched yesterday.
Residents and council staff are being asked to give their views on a series of savings and cost-cutting exercises to generate £64 million to be spent on the town.
Leaflets outlining the options and asking for comments will be available from council venues and some doctors and dentists surgeries throughout August.
Copies of the full council report detailing all the options will be placed in neighbourhood offices, libraries, leisure centres and the town hall.
Consultation ends on Friday, August 25, and a decision will be made at the full council meeting on Wednesday, September 13.
