ON August 15, Wythall Post Office will close for good and the service will be transferred to Drakes Cross.
On behalf of the residents of Wythall, I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the village Postmaster, Paul Ankcorn, for his service to the community over many years (and previously by his family before him).
The closure of this family business is a sad event for Wythall but we wish Mr Ankcorn well for the future and may he enjoy a happy retirement.
