A CHIROPODIST who had never used a computer until four months ago is to open Bromsgrove's first cyber caf.
Entrepreneur Adrian Kriss, of A Kriss Associates, in Perry Lane, will open Comppuccino's in September.
The Worcester Road based Internet caf will boast 20 computer cafes and a buffet-style diner.
It is hoped surfers will be able to log on between 6am and 11pm, seven days a week, for £3 an hour.
The two-storey building will feature a bar serving wine, specialist teas and coffees, terminals for disabled users, Internet computers and word processing terminals.
Mr Kriss plans to offer a car parking refund scheme, a food courier service and student discounts.
"I want Comppuccino's to be a quiet and peaceful place where people can explore the world via the Internet," he said.
"Bromsgrove needs somewhere like this. I am surprised no one thought of it before."
Until completing an IT course earlier this year, Mr Kriss had never used computers. He will be buying all his fixtures and fittings from Bromsgrove businesses to support traders.
