WORCESTER City have agreed a new five-figure shirt sponsorship with London-based firm Petrochem.

The one-year deal was announ-ced at the club's open day at St George's Lane yesterday.

Petrochem take over from Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries, who have supported the club for the last three years under their Banks's brand.

Club director Bob Marley said: "They were introduced by a director to the club some time ago, and over the last two or three years we have been cultivating that relationship."

The club also unveiled a new away strip of dark blue and light blue quarters.

Steve Bull proved the most popular of many attractions on the night.

The former Wolves and England goalscoring legend, who recently joined Hereford United's coaching staff, dropped in to sign autographs, pose for photos and put youngsters through their paces on a footballing obstacle course.

Other attractions included guided tours of the ground and the chance to have photos taken with City's players.
