Drivers have been warned to expect delays on the main road between Kidderminster and Bromsgrove after repair work got underway this month.
There will be temporary traffic lights in place during the resurfacing work and repairs on a section of the A448 between Stone and Chaddesley Corbett.
The work by the Wyre Forest Highways Partnership unit is due to be completed by Friday, August 25 and will be carried out between 8am and 4pm, but may overrun into the evening rush hour.
