RUSSIAN music of various types will be on offer at Ascension Church, Somers Park Avenue, when the Konevets vocal quartet comes to Malvern on Sunday (July 23).
The all-male quartet was founded by students and graduates of the St Petersburg Conservatoire in 1992. Since then, they have performed at a wide range of festivals and venues all over the world.
Their repertoire covers the many different styles of sung Russian music - from sacred hymns and anthems to folk songs and secular choral music.
The concert begins at 7.30pm. Admission is £4, which includes a glass of wine during the interval.
