I WAS fortunate enough to be invited to the recent opening ceremony at Malvern Library of the exhibition on the evolution and impact of radar. Apart from the local connection, it is startling to realise the major military importance that radar created and its influence on our success in the war.
The organisers, Technology Response Limited, and the sponsors, DERA, Malvern Town Council and Worcestershire County Council, are to be congratulated on a most informative and interesting exhibition. Anyone who visits it in the next three months will find it a very worthwhile experience.
I recommend it strongly.
