A GROUP of King Edward VI Grammar School boys set off for an adventure in the rainforests and mountains of Peru at the weekend.
The main aim for the group of sixth formers will be friendship and culture as they spend time with local children and build them a classroom, before taking on the Santa Cruz trail, an arduous trek through Cordillera Blanca mountains.
After their 15,500ft climb through the mountains, the boys, along with Ian Throssell and Nicole Newton from KES and Peter Noble from World Challenge Expeditions Ltd, which is supporting the trip, will stop off on the coast for a well deserved rest!
