Welland Primary School's PTA summer barbecue takes place tonight (Friday) from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. There will be an assortment of activities going on to suit everyone: bouncy castle, tombola and raffle, archery, barbecue, assault course, pony rides, coconut shy, line-dancing, skipping demo, school brass band and Night Owl disco.
Welland Steam Rally and all the fun of the fair is on Friday to Sunday, July 29-31. All the usual fun and excitement, together with the stands where you can buy those odds and ends - a great day out for all the family.
The Friends of Welland are holding their usual funday on Saturday, August 6 where, amongst other things this year, will be a dog show. The next day, on the Welland Steam Rally field, the County Air Ambulance is organising an International It's a Knockout competition. Gates open at 11am, games commence at 2pm - adults £3, OAP's £2 and children under-12 free. There will be a bar and pig roast.
