WADDINGTON Mwayenga scored a century, but Worcester still lost by four wickets against Beacon.
Small boundaries helped Worcester to a total of 292-7 off 55 overs, including an excellent 102 from overseas player Mwayenga.
James Carter also scored 41, while James Wagstaff fired an aggressive 64 not out.
Beacon were always up with the run rate in the chase, thanks to an opening stand of 81 from Lanley and Turkich.
An 81 from A Green put Beacon in charge.
Worcester's bowlers struggled, with Mwayenga and McKay taking two wickets apiece. Beacon reached their total with one over to spare.
Worcester Seconds achieved a losing draw against Cannock.
Cannock won the toss and decided to bat, scoring a massive 316 off their 50 overs. Worcester's chase got off to a good start with Luke Bolton scoring 50 and Matt Trevor 45.
A hard hit 66 from Richard Franklin was not enough and Worcester finished on 258-8.
