SOUTH Worcestershire Police have called on the public to help them find a missing 54-year-old Eves-ham man.

Guy Gisborne left his home in Alexandra Road, Evesham, at 11pm on Saturday, July 16, and has not been seen since.

Police say there is genuine concern for his welfare due to his health.

Mr Gisborne, who was born in Peckham, London, speaks with a slight Worcestershire accent, and is described as white, thin, 5ft 7ins, with dark brown hair that is receding. He has thinning, brown eyes, a pale complexion and is clean-shaven.

He is right-handed, has a scar on his right eyebrow and right knee, wears size eight shoes and drives a red Renault Laguna, registration number N8 GUY.

l The body of a man was found in the River Avon at Evesham this morning.

A member of the public made the discovery just before 7am between Abbey Bridge and Hampton Ferry.

They then contacted the police.
