PUPILS from a primary school near Worcester staged a successful performance of The Wizard Of Oz. Richard Drewett, headteacher of Powick Primary School, off Malvern Road, Powick, said: "It went really well. The parents were delighted with it." He added that all the pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were in the play. They also well as helped to make the scenery and backdrops for Oz and Kansas. Mr Drewett added: "This was the most ambitious project that we have done for a long time." He also thanked teachers, parents and teaching assistants for their support. The play was performed last week.
