AS with all ideological vegetarians Kelly Slade obviously does not have a grasp of the bigger picture.
Her proposal that we all should turn "vegetarian" to save the world is at the very least naive and verges on the ridiculous.
What exactly does she propose that farmers do with their animals? Not to mention the whole food industry. Is Ms Slade suggesting that it is okay to bankrupt and starve people in her own country who make contributions to charities supporting Africa?
Sorry, Ms Slade, go back to the drawing board on this one! How fortunate we live in a world where we have freedom of choice regarding what we eat.
So Ms Slade, you stick to your carrot sticks and I'll continue to enjoy my beef, chicken, bacon and lamb.
