A FAMILY are over the moon after being reunited with their cat which went missing more than a week ago.
Ten-year-old Natalie Dodd's cat Leo went absent on the evening of her birthday, on Sunday, July 10. Despite numerous calls as a result of an appeal for sightings put out in the Worcester News, mum Judith Turberfield, of St Dunstan's Close, Batt-enhall, Worcester, said they had all but given up hope of finding the black cat again.
However, they received a call from a family living in The Hill Avenue, off Bath Road on Friday, who said they had had a cat hiding under their shed for three days. They were therefore overjoyed when they went around and found it was Leo.
Ms Turberfield said: "We had lots of phone calls from people trying to help, with everyone checking their sheds and garages.
"We were so glad to have him back and thankful about how kind everyone was - it's really restored my faith in people!"
