FORGET stuffy conference rooms and picture instead a summer's day on the banks of the River Severn, enjoying a buffet lunch and chatting to like-minded business people.
That is what is being offered to local businesses at a special networking event organised by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber will hold a lunch on Friday, July 29, at the Severn Boat Festival.
Entry to the occasion - in the Worcester racecourse grandstand - includes a full day's pass to the Severn Boat Festival, one of the largest in-land boat festivals in the country.
"We are all about networking and facilitating business and where better to do it than on the banks of the River Severn on what will hopefully be a lovely summer's day," said David Graham, membership manager for the chamber.
"We are very pleased to have partnered with the organisers of this exciting event and we are looking forward to what promises to be a very enjoyable and fruitful lunch."
The lunch costs £22.00 + VAT for chamber members and £28.67 + VAT for non-members. To book a place call 0845 6411532.
