AN entrance fee to go into the new Waitrose store, an entrance fee to go into Morrisons, even an entrance fee to go into the local butcher's.
That's what is happening every time visitor to the Spa pay these outrageous parking fees.
When are the local councillors going to wake up and smell the coffee and think the unthinkable - allow free parking and put out the welcome mat to all visitors to our lovely town.
Let's see our local traders doing good business and able to pay rates. These sad traffic wardens disguised as lamp posts and leaping out to book people to make up their targets make me sick.
The parking fees can add 10 per cent to most shopping bills. It makes good sense now to drive to Bromsgrove and park free at Morrisons there.
