A TRIO of juniors from Broadway Golf Club helped Gloucestershire to victory in the South West Boys Championship at Broadstone last week.
The win qualifies the county's youngsters for the English Boys Finals at Little Aston in early September - the team of seven for which will be selected later this month and promises to be a tricky task.
Wiltshire and Devon were the victims and they were never in the match when they trailed by 15 shots at lunch.
Chris O'Hagan and Ed Kennedy both shot 76s in the morning round with Peter Stedman carding an 80.
All bettered those efforts after lunch when a 74 from O'Hagan, 75 for Kennedy and Stedman's 76 ensured a comfortable win for the Gloucestershire side.
