M CLARKE accuses me of envy and greed (Monday, July 11). I certainly don't envy today's middle class, with its money-orientated lifestyle. Christ said quite clearly: "You cannot serve both God and Money."
As to greed, for over 25 years now I've given a sizeable proportion of my allowance to local charitable causes, precisely because I don't earn it. "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
