A RUBERY school pupil is celebrating after winning a good citizen award.
Nic Parkes, who attends Waseley Hills High School, was given the honour by West Mercia Constabulary for an outstanding contribution to his community.
The 15-year-old received the award after setting up and running a village website, which has become a valuable method of communication between neighbourhood watch groups, residents and the police.
The award was given out at a ceremony which took place at County Hall in Worcester.
