A MAN in his sixties had his £10,000 car stolen in a robbery in Barnt Green.
The silver Vauxhall Vectra was being driven when it was hit from behind by a green Mercedes estate.
When the driver got out of the Vectra to investigate, he was confronted by the passenger of the Mercedes who pushed him on the shoulder and drove off in the vehicle, followed by the Mercedes, which had been reported stolen from the Walsall area.
The robbery happened near Redwood nursing home, in Cherry Hill Road, at 9pm on Tuesday, July 12.
The victim, was shocked but unhurt. His vehicle registration number is DN04 EXV.
The passenger is a white man, 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, aged about 25, of slim build and was wearing a light coloured short sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
The driver is a white man, with dark hair, aged about 25.
The robbery may be linked to an incident in Oakfield Drive, Cofton Hackett, also at about 9pm, when a resident reported two men in a green Mercedes estate acting suspiciously.
Det Sgt Leighton Harding said: "This was a very frightening incident for the victim. Luckily crimes like this are rare in north Worcestershire."
