BARGAIN hunters will be able to enjoy the new-look St Richard's Hospice shop after it re-opened its doors following a major refit.

The Gurneys Lane shop has been closed for a complete refurbishment over the last two weeks and is now 'cleaner, fresher, brighter' says the hospice shops and commercial director Dan Corns.

"We're ready to welcome back all our loyal local customers and hope to encourage new people to come in and see the wide range of items on offer," said Dan.

"We decided it was time to give the shop a fresh, more modern look while still keeping its individual style. There are better displays making it easier for our customers to see and space for more goods, including clothes and books. We are looking forward to people coming in to see the new-look store and would welcome donations of good quality items to sell."

The shop is one of 11 charity stores run by St Richard's in Worcestershire. They are run with the help of almost 300 dedicated volunteers.
