AMY Lewis has proved herself a hot shot among the men in the Evesham and District Airgun League.

The 14-year-old Evesham High School pupil won four trophies during a busy season that saw her help Offenham RBL to victory in the Harvey Hunt Cup and runners-up spot in the league.

Amy won the ladies cup for top lady in the league with an average of 45.67, while also claiming the Lewis Cup, donated by her late grandfather Pete, for finishing top of the Under-21 scorers.

The teenager also won the Keen Youth Under-21s competition and, for the second successive year, was voted best up and coming youngster by the committee - an award that saw her win the Jack Bloxham Cup.

To cap what has been a memorable season for Amy, she has also earned a call-up for the league's representative side for Inter-League competition and next season she will serve on the committee as youth representative.

Another teenager at Offenham showing that youth can match experience is 15-year-old Sam Thomson who recorded an average of 42.67 for his season in the league.

Also a pupil at the Four Pools school, Sam, one of four members of the Legion's team aged under 21, was only pipped for the Keen Cup by his fellow High Schooler Amy.
