IT'S crunch week for Broadway's men as they enter the final stages of county competitions in which they are represented in three out of the fur disciplines ahead of next month's National Bowls Championships at Worthing.
Broadway were guaranteed a place in the Singles semi-finals when And-rew Walters and John Oliver met. And, after a a close game, it was the former who came through 21-15 and he will now meet England international Grant Burgess in today's semi-final.
Walters and David Cresswell also progressed to the last four of the Pairs with a comfortable win over Worcester's Brian Borthwick and Clive Hall.
In the rinks competition, skip Mark Rainbow with Dennis Hall, David Cresswell and Steve Aldren overcame a rink from Chainwire and will now meet Brian Borthwick's rink for a place in the final tonight.
The club is also represented in the Under-25 final where Walters will take on Richard Moule (Droitwich Spa).
Walters is also through to the semi-final of the Champion of Champions where he will meet Steve Poyner (Kays BC).
