KIDDERMINSTER Arts Festival has a wealth of activities lined up for the next two weeks.

The fun starts on Monday with all ages invited to Paint the Pavement outside Kidderminster's Swan Centre from 10am until 3pm. Other events are:

Monday - Drum Love will give a dynamic showcase of world drumming techniques at noon, 1.45pm and 3.30pm in the town centre. This free event is open to all ages.

For those who have caught the drumming bug, a workshop will be held from 12.30pm until 1.30pm at Kidderminster Town Hall.

Tuesday - Do-Day returns from 10am until 3pm at Kidderminster Town Hall by popular demand and offers a chance to try a variety of arts and crafts.

Wednesday - Pop dance workshop at Kidderminster Town Hall from 10.30am until 11.30am. The dance theme continues from noon until 1pm at the same venue with a dance choreography workshop.

Thursday - the Bangers and Mash children's theatre company presents Puss In Boots for the under 8s at Kidderminster Town Hall from noon until 12.45pm. There is also a West End workshop for over 13s at Kidderminster Town Hall from 10am until noon.

l Throughout the two-week festival there are also free showcases and exhibitions.

The Stourport Photography Competition, organised by Stourport Civic Society, runs from July 25 until August 4 at Kidderminster Town Hall.

Tree'mendous - a six foot three-dimensional tree of life, made from recycled mixed media by users of the Odell Centre - will be on show at Kidderminster Library on the same dates.

Photographs of sculptures by acclaimed artist Andy Goldsworthy will be on show at the Kidderminster Gallery until July 30 as part of an extensive UK tour organised by the Hayward Gallery for Arts Council England.

Finally, courtesy of Youthworcs, a mobile cinema will be coming to the town's Weavers Wharf on August 2 and 3.
