STUDLEY skipper Richard Gregory is looking for his side to go on a three-match winning run in a bid to keep their season.

The Washford Fields outfit claimed a winning draw from their match with fellow promotion hopefuls Attock at the weekend and Gregory is looking to keep the pressure on leaders Shifnal.

"Our next three games are against Old Elizabethans, King's Heath and Blossomfield and I'm looking to get wins from those games," the captain explained.

"We know we have a difficult end to the season so it would be good to get some points in the bag."

Simon Stamenkovich was back to open the Studley innings but it wasn't a happy return for the wicket-keeper as he fell for three to an lbw decision.

Mark Edwards (77 no) and J Nazir (61) kept the scoreboard ticking over and the home side posted 251-8 from their 55 overs.

In reply some excellent bowling from Brandon Miller (3-30) and Stuart Harris kept the runs at bay early on but the visitors upped the rate before running out of time with the score on 200-8.

Redditch suffered another batting collapse as they were crushed by Evesham, Neil Radford's side claiming a 101-run victory.

Former Worcestershire star Radford was an early scalp for Robin Biddle, skipper Dan Protherough taking the catch, but Evesham recovered to post 211-7 from their 55 overs. Joe Hill (3-34) and Hugh Humphries (2-49) were the pick of the bowlers.

And Hill also impressed with the bat, scoring 30 before being forced off the field with cramp. Opener Simon Allison also piled on the pressure but when he was dismissed with the score on 81, the innings fell away as the Evesham spinners took control.

The Bromsgrove Road side collapsed to 120 all out with Jack Williams the only player other than the openers to reach double figures, five of the batsmen falling for ducks.

Studley and Redditch will come face-to-face tomorrow when they meet in a Twenty 20 clash at Washford Fields.

The action starts at 6.15pm and there will be a return game at Redditch the following week.
