NEW-BOY Jon Brady hit the scoresheet as Hereford United drew 2-2 with Wrexham in last night's pre-season friendly at Edgar Street.
Brady, a summer signing from Dagenham and Redbridge, and striker Adam Stansfield gave the Bulls a two-goal lead before the Dragons fired back with goals either side of the interval from Lee McEvilly and Levi Mackin.
United's director of football Graham Turner gave three trialists a run-out against the Coca-Cola League Two side.
Former Newcastle United trainee Andy Ferrell started in midfield, while goalkeeper Clint Davies and forward Graham Evans came on as substitutes during the match.
Another close-season acquisition, defender Dean Beckwith, and youngster Andy Will-iams were given starting nods.
Brady volleyed United into the lead on 13 minutes, netting after good work by Williams down the right, and the Australian then teed up Stansfield for his headed goal on 25 minutes.
The Welsh outfit responded when former Rochdale and Accrington Stanley striker McEvilly drilled a 30-yard free-kick past Craig Mawson.
Then on 70 minutes, Wrexham grabbed their equaliser when substitute Mackin dipped a shot over 'keeper Davies from outside the penalty box.
