WE, the public, are so quick to judge the police for not being on the ball - but they proved me wrong on a recent Sunday.
I was chatting to a man while I was waiting for a lift, and when a police car passed me, I noticed the officers lean over.
The officers came back, stopped, got out of the car and asked if I was alright. I told them I was waiting for my daughter.
My daughter, Susan, was impressed. I could have been in trouble with nobody there to help me.
We thank those officers very much.
