PICNICKERS enjoyed a performance of classic songs and raised over £1,300 for St Richard's Hospice at a special charity concert.
Around 100 people were in the audience for Great Witley Operatic Society's A Grand Night For Singing at Worcester's St Mary's Convent School on Sunday.
The group sang extracts from Gilbert & Sullivan, Ivor Novello and George Gershwin, as well as songs from more recent musicals, such as West End smash Les Miserables.
Event organiser Ann Price said: "It was a wonderful evening. The weather was gorgeous and lots of people picnicked in the lovely grounds of St Mary's Convent before enjoying the concert."
Money raised from the event will help fund hospice care services for patients and families living with cancer and other life-threatening illness.
