INQUESTS into several deaths, including those of a baby and a disc jockey, were due to be heard today by Worcestershire coroner Victor Round.

The baby, Edward Parker, of Hanbury Wharf, Droitwich, died at Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Monday, May 23.

The disc jockey and quizmaster, Guy Thomas Gisbourne, of Alexandra Road, Evesham, was found dead in the River Avon at Evesham on July 19.

Also due to be opened at Stourport-on-Severn coroner's court were the inquests on:

l Horace Brian Bennett, aged 71, a window cleaner, of Alexandra Road, Evesham, who was found dead on Tuesday, July 19

l John Leslie Lizzell, aged 71, a builder of Gardens Close, Upton-upon-Severn, who died at Walgrave Hospital, Coventry on Wednesday, July 20.

To be resumed are the inquests on:

l Martin Cleary, aged 59, an agricultural worker of Croome Road, Defford, who died at Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Friday, June 17.

l David William Rogers, aged 56, a showman, of Birchwood Drive, Stocks Lane, Malvern, who died on March 16

l Gordon John Knight, aged 61, a retired postman, of Gilmore Crescent, Claines, Worcester, who died on July 20.
