MALVERN restaurant and caf Pepper & Oz has been joined by a new delicatessen a few doors down called Pepper & Oz II - A Bit on the Side.
Run by husband and wife team Helen and Julian I'Anson, the Abbey Road deli puts an emphasis on locally-produced goods.
Its Heart of England fine foods cabinet holds a great selection of speciality foods from HEFF members, including cheeses from Ansteys of Worcester, ice creams from The September Organic Dairy in Weobley, Herefordshire, and olive oils, preserves and pickles from Emily's on the Welsh border.
The deli supplies ingredients to the restaurant for its menus.
Deli worker Steven Hill said: "Our aim is to offer people in Malvern something just that little bit different."
and daily specials and the restaurant in return produces its salads, savoury and sweet dishes to sell in the deli.
"Our new Pepper and Oz Wine Club offers members 10% off all wine purchases in the deli, a regular newsletter and a free glass of wine when dining at the restaurants, and we are putting an emphasis on HEFF goods."
HEFF was formed in 1998 to promote and raise awareness of food and drink from within the West Midlands and to help food and drink businesses to develop.
