STEEPLEJACKS scaled the 198-foot spire at St John's Parish Church in Bromsgrove yesterday (Tuesday) to repair the faulty lightning conductor.
High fliers Ian Dawson and Nick Page, from Dawson Steeplejacks of Bristol, spent most of the day on their lofty perch working from ladders which they had previously fixed to the church spire some three weeks ago.
