FOUR dedicated teachers, who have clocked up 128 years at a Rubery school, are retiring.

The Waseley Hills High teachers are leaving the School Road site at the end of term.

Jean Wickens, who teaches personal, social and health education, is retiring after 26 years, graphics teacher Denzil Hill is off after 36 years, Tony Philpott, who taught psychology and maths, is leaving after 33 years, as is business teacher Trevor Bird.

The four are planning a party when they have left the school for the final time.
