ANOTHER Shakespeare qualifier took place on Hampton Ferry and Evesham Town Waters last Saturday when 67 anglers were in action.
Nottingham's Steve Toone took top spot with two tench taken on the pole/worm early on in the match.
He then resorted to hemp for smaller fish and weighed in 12-0-0 off Ferry peg 56 immediately in front of the cafe.
Local match angler Brian Bennett was in second place with 9-10-0 which included a barbel and a mixed bag. Again using the pole/worm, he fished off Town peg 56.
In third place with 9-4-0 was W B Clarke team man Rich Reynolds from South Derbyshire fishing off peg 22 on the Town.
The day's three qualifier were Rich Reynolds, Ian Sutherland and Adrian Narbeth.
