MEMBERS of the Harvin-gton Society returned to The Wychwood Golf Club for their mid-Summer fixture.
Before lunch, the three-man team competition, where two scores counted on each hole, was easily won by the team of Bob Claude, Paul Harper and Terry Mead.
The team's score was bolstered by eight points after a brace of birdie 2s on the 146-yard par three third hole.
Individual glory was at stake in the afternoon when Claude and Mead retained their form to secure further prizes.
The latter won the Challenge Plate with a net 69 on countback from the ever consistent Andy Basford, while Claude carded a net 70.
