AS parents of one of the graduates from Catshill Middle School this year, we would like to express our pride in the standard of achievements and sheer talents we were privileged to experience last week.

An outstanding performance from all the pupils involved made the evening's entertainment thoroughly enjoyable. They were able to express their hopes, aspirations and dreams through song, dance and musical performances. It was clear that they had enjoyed their time at the school as they gave personal reflections regarding teaching, PGL and French holidays, to name but a few...

Awards were given to individual pupils for both academic and sporting achievments, as well as personal growth and development during their years at the school. It was clear that the staff were as proud of them too. We were pleased to hear positive praise coming from them when each award was presented. Each pupil received a medal, a certificate of personal achievement and an engraved pen.

Our thanks to Mrs Dunstan, head of Year 8, for helping to make it a wonderful graduation evening for us all!

Our favourite event of the evening was the 'Grease' dance performance, but then again we are biased as our daughter, Lucy, took part in this!
