Belbroughton held to losing draw
BELBROUGHTON missed a chance to catch up with the leading pack in the Worcestershire League Division Two after bottom side Cookley held them on Saturday.
Fourth placed Belbroughton missed a chance to cut the gap between themselves and the top three after a dogged performance by the basement side.
Dave Hayward top scored with 50 runs as Belbroughton recorded a total of 221-8.
However, Blakeney hit 59 runs to frustrate Belbroughton and ensured a share of the points.
The Tons go to struggling Kidderminster Victoria on Saturday (1.30pm start).
